SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW OPEN!!!
Calling all animators: We are now calling for submissions to the 9th annual FLIP Festival.
Films will be judged by a select industry and academic panel and the winning animators will be announced during the festival.
The panel and prizes are to be confirmed and more information will be available later in the year. We will consider any short animated films of up to 15 minutes in length in any category.
Please note the festival will include a screenings of young people’s animation and therefore welcome submissions from animators below the age of 18.
The person submitting must have relevant permission/clearance for all elements of the film: for example, music. Flip will not be liable for any copyright infringements that occur once a film has been exhibited. Film selection is at the discretion of the festival director and the selection panel.
